| HEGELIANISM (1) Definitions: i. The philosophy of G. W. F. Hegel which can be summed up by the dictum "the rational alone is real", which means that all reality is capable of being expressed in rational categories. ii. The collection of the philosophical movements that developed out of the thought of the 19th-century German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. iii. The philosophy of Hegel that places ultimate reality in ideas rather than in things and that uses dialectic to comprehend an absolute idea behind phenomena. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1.
