| HAWK (2) Definition: A person, especially a politician, who supports the use of military force to solve problems. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Never makes a serious attempt to dialogue or discuss issue. (Or tries made to resolve problem will be halfhearted and impatient, thereby failing to improve situation.) 2. It is expected that person thoroughly understands the problem or matter in contention. 3. Person appreciates the nature and consequences of the use of force and/or military interventions or involvement. 4. Comments, remarks, actions or inaction of this person will actually worsen or exacerbate situation. And the intention to take the hard road will not be denied. That is, person adopts stand deliberately or knowingly. 5. (Reserved.) (If a politician, person will vote for funding or financing of military 'campaign'. And if not in a position to vote, will contribute to a fund-raising for the 'war'.) 6. Always around the corridors of power, when and where the decision to go hard or to go soft, will be taken. And will be ready to make sometimes unfounded accusations, allegations, etc. 7.
