| HARDLINER (1) Definition: A person who has very fixed beliefs and is unlikely or unwilling to change them. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Person has purpose and considers stubbornness a necessity. 2. Convinced beyond doubt about the rightness of the stance adopted. 3. Will go it alone, if necessary. That is, person will not waste anytime trying to get a 'convert'. 4. Piles pressure on the appropriate authority or authorities in order to achieve aim(s). 5. Ready and prepared to make an accusation without evidence and/or an insinuation without justification. 6. Will bear any loss or hardship, and will face whatever consequence stance brings, no matter how dire. 7. Foresees a gain or benefit in the end, if or when he or she is able to have his or her way.
