Hard error
HARD ERROR

Definition: (computing) An error or fault that makes a program or operating system stop working, and that cannot be corrected.

1. Source of fault can be traced.

2. Nature of error will be quickly recognized, with no time wasted on trying to fix problem.

3. Fault is not man-made.

4. Whatever had been saved or accomplished does not get destroyed, damaged, lost, etc. by the happening.

5. Fault does not condemn the hard drive or software or ... .

6. Error does not destabilized or discourage user of computer, programmer, etc. That is, work can and will be restarted or continued, in the manner possible, in spite of the error.
