| HARASSMENT (1) Definitions: i. The act of annoying or worrying somebody by putting pressure on them or saying or doing unpleasant things to them. ii. Behaviour that annoys or upsets someone. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, for the party harassing another. 2. Considered a necessity and done of person's freewill. 3. Not disallowed by a legal restriction, that is, not done in violation of the law. 4. Done at the time that it will have the most negative effect on the annoyed or worried party. 5. Nature of pressure, talk or act is appropriate to have maximum effect (connect to #8). 6. Disturbed person is not in a position to counter actions. And the protection of the law has not or cannot been sought in the situation; no immediate escape route. 7. Loss, embarrassment, inconvenience, etc. will be lot of recipient of annoying acts. (While the troubling person gets a thrill from negative activities.) 8. Pressure applied is not life-threatening; things said are truths or maybe half-truths; acts or actions are not illegalities that will put the 'afflicted' in trouble with the law! 9. No physicality is involved in the process. 10. Duration of disturbance is appropriate to achieve goal(s). 11.
