| HAPPENSTANCE Definitions: i. (literary) Chance, especially when it results in something good. ii. (written) If you say that something happened by happenstance, you mean that it happened because of certain circumstances, although it was not planned by anyone. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Never really shocks or surprises, though unprepared for. 2. Could not have been stopped as the circumstances responsible would always be beyond own control. 3. Not intricate or complex. That is, circumstances would be possible to decipher to arrive at conclusion of they being the cause or source. 4. Some lesson would be learned from the nature of an occurrence or a happening, as guide for the future, either to enhance or to prevent. 5. Outcome or result would not be what is not wanted!
