| HAMMERLOCK Definition: (in wrestling) A way of holding somebody so that their arm is bent behind their back and they cannot move. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for 'stronger' wrestler. 2. The other arm of the person held is free (see definition). 3. Bone of locked arm will not break as a direct result of how it (= arm) is handled. 4. Hold will lasts for the duration desired (connect to #3 & #6, to emphasize). 5. No discomfort will be suffered or experienced by the wrestler with advantage from way of holding opponent. 6. Serves purpose(s).
