Definition: (especially North American English) A place for people to visit, like a museum, with things connected with famous people from a particular sport or activity.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Procedures and processes for selection and induction are open, fair, transparent, plain, legal, etc.

3. Details of inductees records that are displayed in place are true, correct and complete; and memorabilia, etc. in building or structure, are prized and genuine.

4. Members of hall are retired from the sport or activity that earned them a place in the hall.

5. (Reserved.) (Hall cannot be 'full' or 'overcrowded'.)

6. Clean, neat and tidy.

7. Safe, secured and protected. And structure where situated is solidly built or erected.

8. Well-run or managed. That is, management is effective and efficient, with place having operational rules and regulations, etc.

9. Serves purpose(s) or achieves goal(s).
