| HALF DAY Definition: A day on which people work only in the morning or in the afternoon. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Official, not self-chosen or unapproved. 3. Resumption at and closure from work is at the right times. 4. Work is done effectively and efficiently; satisfactorily. 5. No unplanned loss is suffered as a result of work not being done for the full day. And nothing illegal is done during working hours. 6. Due payment, entitlement, emoluments, allowances, etc. is what is received for the day. Or is what is right according to what is in the terms of employment or engagement. 7.
