| GUESSWORK Definition: The process of trying to find the answer by guessing when you do not have enough information. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Question is heard completely. Or problem is fully understood. 3. You do not have an important clue, guide, hint, etc. from the information possessed. 4. No time to concentrate on serious thought or to make an attempt at some detailed search or research. 5. Answers that will be proffered will not be based on any suggestion or assessment or an elimination procedure. 6. Attempt will not be given up on first try (= the initial failure). That is, many wrong answers will be suggested from the start. 7. All possible or probable answers, in your opinion, will be given, within available time or before expiration of a deadline, if any. 8.
