C. Purposeful and necessary, in your opinion, to make attempt. And your try need not be as good as mine. O. Issue, matter, problem, etc. is studied, considered or examined, even as it may not be fully understood. R. No tip, support, clue, etc. is provided by an external source to help in making a choice ('chance picking'). And nothing from the past is remembered or recollected to assist the attempt. That is, the so-called uncertainty will be obvious and/or truly genuine. R. Possible options of all that might be right are listed, even if only by heart.
