Purposeful and necessary for persons or groups involved. 2. Course or source of contention is not in doubt. 3. Contest is the first, hopefully will be last. 4. Umpire or ref, if any, will not be a bit biased. 5. 'Fight' will end, sometime, won or lost or drawn. 6. Its intensity results in losses for both parties. 7.
