Group work
GROUP WORK

Definition: (British English) Work done by a group of people working together, for example students in a classroom.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. All members of the group are/were given specific things to do, by the collective or the authority that assigned work (if applicable).

3. The members did their individual assignment(s).

4. Work is assessed and graded. And work is considered good enough, not needing to be repeated. (Connect to #5.)

5. Members equally share or are assigned the scores (marks) earned. Or get equal share of blame if this is to be apportioned.

6. Group efforts achieve objective(s) or work serves purpose(s).
