| GROUCH (1) Definition: (informal) A person who complains a lot: a grumbler. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considers it necessary to complain a lot. 2. Will not proffer a real, workable solution to the matter being complained about (connect to #3). 3. Will not attempt to solve issue or problem, especially where the capacity or ability to do so exists. 4. Lacks the understanding to appreciate an explanation or accept a valid excuse. 5. Does nothing to aggravate situation. That is, all he will do is talk (= complain) - takes no action to try and repair, correct, replace, etc. 6. Suffers a loss, 'disequilibrium', - emotional or psychological - even if this is not so obvious, whether person is taken seriously or not paid any attention. ________________ Oh God, but why, for goodness' sake ?
