| GRIND (2) Definition: The unpleasant noise made by machines: the act, sound, or jar of grinding. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would, so annoyingly, be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - the noise - not its unpleasantness. 2. Appropriate or natural. That is, noise is not the result of the machine being faulty or an equipment malfunction. 3.
