| GREY MARKET (1) Definition: A system in which products are imported into a country and sold without the permission of the company that produced them. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for those involved. 2. Breaks no law. That is, producer's or manufacturer's permission, to import the particular products, is not expressly required. 3. Not stolen products. That is, company (= manufacturer) gets due income and earns its usual profit from production. 4. All taxes due are paid on both sides of the border. 5. Producer is aware that goods are exported (connect to #7). 6. Has no negative effect on the local manufacturing industry of the importing country. 7. Producer does not complain and demand to issue, in the future, a permission for the export of its products. 8.
