| GREEN REVOLUTION Definition: The green revolution is the increase in agricultural production that has been made possible by the use of new types of crops and new farming methods, especially in developing countries. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (to emphasize), at whatever costs. 2. Methods do not result in any sort of social disequilibrium. 3. Increased produce or harvests will be maximally made use of. That is, no wastage or decay of items will be recorded during period. 4. New crops and modern methods will be introduced and taught to all the stakeholders in community or society, region or country, etc. 5. No long term damage will occur to the environment or an ecosystem as a consequence of the new inputs and approaches. 6.
