| GRAVY TRAIN Definition: (informal) A situation where people seem to be making a lot of money without much effort. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for those in situation. 2. Enrichment is not through an illegality (to emphasize). 3. Newcomers and/or guests are allowed to 'board' the train. (Though those 'on board' will hardly, happily invite others.) 4. The lives of rivals, competitors, etc. are not taken in the process of getting on board or while on the 'train'. (Connect to #3.) 5. 'Formula' is not open to every 'Tom, Dick and Harry' - not to lazybones ! 6. Situation continues for a desired period of time, for the people with valid 'tickets' - they never want to get off ! 7. Money made is invested wisely. That is, there will be no return to poverty, when boom ends, for those who are fortunate to be on 'train'. 8. (Reserved.) (No guilt will arise for being in situation. That is, circumstances are not immorally or unfairly manipulated to be in situation. In other words, the 'train' is not a 'Black Maria'!)
