| GRATITUDE (1) Definition: [ ~ (to somebody) (for something) ] The feeling of being grateful and wanting to express your thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful, even if thought by some as unnecessary. 2. Whole and unquestionable; active and not latent (connect to #5). 3. Feeling is possessed timely - immediately on receiving help, assistance, favour, etc. And feeling is not time-barred; cannot and should not 'expire'. 4. There is a sound basis for feeling. That is, what you are being thankful for is 'in the bag', not thankfulness that is in anticipation of a fulfillment. 5. There is a readiness, by you, if not an anxiety, to display what is being felt. That is, there will be no delay or hesitation in saying thanks, when the chance is available. (Connect to #6, to emphasize.) 6. A chance to express thanks, if it comes, will not be left to slip by. That is, you will be prepared - conscious and aware - and will also probably look or create an opportunity, to express the thanks, during the period. In other words, feeling will not be made a deliberately owed 'debt'. 7. Manner in which to express thanks will be planned and therefore, will be shown in an appropriate form, when opportunity arises. 8.
