| GRANT-IN-AID Definition: A sum of money given to a local government or an institution, or to a particular person to allow them to study something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Topic or subject to be studied will be specific and identifiable. 3. Outcome will be beneficial to who funds, researcher and the larger society. 4.
