| GRADUATION (1) Definition: The act of successfully completing a university degree, or studies at an American High School. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for graduand. 2. No coursework, project, practicals or examination is outstanding. (And no resit examination, carryover, etc. will be pending.) 3. Work has been assessed or marked and graded. 4. University senate or school board has considered and approved final result(s) of examinations. 5. Grade obtained is good enough to be usable, useful or used, after leaving university or college. 6. Evidence of completion - certificate, testimonial, etc., not just a photograph - is possessed. 7. (Reserved.) (Successful finisher is ready for the next stage of life, in which the certificate or degree acquired will be used.
