| GRADUALISM Definition: A policy of gradual change in society rather than sudden change or revolution. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful for change to be made gradual. 2. Considered a necessity to help achieve particular goal(s). 3. Proposed changes and their implementation are debated and generally agreed on by a majority of members of the society. 4. Introduction and/or application of changes will be in bits and pieces; piecemeal. 5. Speed or pace will be appropriate and possible to be monitored, amended, etc. as time passes by. 6.
