| ARTIST'S PROOF Definition: One of the first copies pulled from an engraved plate, for the engraver's approval. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary to have a test run. 2. Will be among the earliest 'productions'; truly 'first'. 3. Gets to the engraver in a best normal or the natural condition. 4. With no alteration or amendment or damage, occurring by mistake. 5. Available for artist's view for period of time required. 6.
