| GOVERNORSHIP (1) Definition: The governorship of a particular country or state is the position of being its governor. Governorship is also used to refer to a period of time a particular person spends being the governor of a country or state. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have a position and the time. 2. The office/position and a mandate/tenure, were won or secured in, or assumed through, a credible election or process, and these are also specific and definite from the very beginning (to emphasize). 3. Commences or taken over at the right time, without an interference. 4. The duties and functions that will be expected of office-holder and the period of an approval to lead others, will be determinate ones. 5. Not a post given or a period for politicking or partisanship or shenanigans. That is, mandate will be devoted to tackling challenges and proffering solutions to the problems facing the led or electorate. In other words, used to improve or make better what was met on assuming position. 6. Will end, whenever it ends, on a high note, with reputation intact. 7. Should be one in which it cannot be forgotten that there would be a life after service, on leaving the governor's office or mansion. 8. Legacies or accomplishments will be those that can be sustained or improved upon by the successors, even if from the opposition party. That is, actions taken for the public good or uncompleted projects will not be cancelled or abandoned by who takes over as governor. 9.
