Specific and direct details are not listed in write-up, leaving readers to draw their conclusion(s). 4. Style of writing, with or without grammatical errors, will ensure that story is read all through, whether concluded in one edition or continued in another print. 5. Events or happenings in the future will lend credence to the veracity of some, most or all of the tale. That is, column would contain some truths or half-truths, not outright lies! 6. Story will not be withdrawn or apologized for in the future. That is, no libel suit will succeed as a direct contents of the column. 7. Column serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s), whatever this/these is/are for columnist, editor and management. 8.
