| GONZO JOURNALISM Definition: (North American English, informal) Reporting in newspapers that tries to shock or excite readers rather than to give true information. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for journalists, editors, etc. 2. The real, true information is possessed or can be sourced. 3. Information that shocks or surprises will be prominently placed or displayed - front page, centrespread or centrefold, backpage, etc. 4. Typeface will be bold and clear enough to be very easily seen. 5. Report will be sufficiently current or recent to be able to achieve maximum effect or optimal impact. 6. Information presented will be complete, whether contained in one or multiple edition(s), release(s), etc. 7.
