| GOLDEN OLDIE (1) Definition: (informal) A song or film/movie that is quite old but still well known and popular. ______________________________________________________________________ * All three elements should be in. 1. Still has a 'pull effect'. That is, song still gets airplay and/or will still get a performance/dance floor jam-packed. And film/movie will still be bought or gets the theatre filled with cinema-goers. 2. Needs no publicity. Or gets played/broadcast with or after minimum promotional activities (see definition). 3. Appeals to all the former fans/supporters (and some new younger converts of the modern generation, as well). (To emphasize.) ________________________ a. Pop or reggae tunes. b. Romantic play or horror drama. c. Jazz or rock and roll. d. War or musical. e. Voices or instrumentals. f. Star-studded or low grade casts. g.
