Definition: (British English) A protest that workers make by doing their work more slowly than usual.

1. Purposeful and necessary in the opinion of strikers.

2. Negotiations failed before decision was taken to embark on protest.

3. No 'strike-breaker' in the union. That is, all workers participate. In other words, no 'fast employee' during period.

4. Requisite or adequate notice, in line with the labour laws, trade rules, industrial regulations, etc. will be given to employers.

5. No reduction of salaries or wages, no suspension or sack, etc. will result as an aftermath of action.

6. What is produced slowly will still be of the best grade and in line with best practices (where possible).

7. It will be impossible for temporary staff to be employed in situation. There will, therefore, be a financial loss as a direct fallout of slowness (connect to #10).

8. Situation will continue for only a duration considered reasonable by the employers (connect to #7 & #9).

9. 'Strike' action achieves objective(s). That is, demand of workers will be attended to by management as a result of economic loss!

10. Machinery or equipment, if any, will not be damaged as a consequence of the slow speed of workers (to emphasize).
