| GIVE AND TAKE (1) Definition: (idiomatic - give and take) Willingness in a relationship to accept what somebody else wants and give up some of what you want. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary as will be decided by you alone. That is, an 'agreement' has to be entered as you ain't allowed to have it all. 2. Priorities or prioritization would have been thoroughly concluded, after well-thought considerations, not on the spur of the moment thoughts. 3. Extent or measure of what will be received will be discussed and agreed - not a foregone conclusion or fait accompli prior an 'exchange'. _______________________________________ * ACCEPT THE OTHER'S FREEDOM. 4. What will be given up will be what is wanted by the other, however he or she ends up using same. That is, negotiation will be honest. 5. Whatever is given up will not be possible to be secured or acquired, indirectly, from the same person or party soon afterwards. 6. Willingness and the accompanying exchange(s) will be completed timely and satisfy all the parties involved in 'win some, lose some' or 'desire and surrender' game. ________________________________________________ ...
