| GHETTO (1) Definition: An area of a city where many people of the same race or background live, separately from the rest of the population. Ghettos are often crowded, with bad living conditions. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, even though unnecessary. 2. Place is not planned. Or if its structures are based on an original plan, this would have been distorted over time. 3. Infrastructures will be inadequate and not properly maintained. 4. Place will have all; the good (= talent and skill), the bad (= rapists and murderers) and the ugly (= racists, bigots, etc.). 5. Law and order will not be strictly enforced in part of city as there will be a lot of gangs, no-go areas, etc. 6. Diseases, illnesses, etc. will be prevalent in area.
