| GENUFLECTION (2) Definition: (formal) The act of showing too much respect to somebody/something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, even if this not disclosed to another. And voluntary. 2. Considered a necessity in the opinion of the person or party showing too much respect. (Connect to #3 & #4.) 3. Recipient of effusion is deserving. That is, 'overemphasis' is not out of fear, as a result of a threat, etc. 4. Something will be lost if respect is less than excessive. That is, the person concerned will be treated as a slave or an object if he or she does not genuflect. 5. Duration is okay or appropriate to help achieve objective(s). 6.
