| GENTLEMAN FARMER Definitions: i. A man who runs a farm without being financially dependent on it. ii. A landowner who lives on his estate superintending the cultivation of his own soil. iii. A farmer who deputes the the work of his farm to a farm manager and other staff. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. * For the definition (i) only, please. 1. Has a purpose for engaging in agricultural activities. 2. Considers it a necessity to not depend on farm income. 3. Other source of income will be assured, if not multiple sources. 4. Does not owe anyone regarding the running of the farm. 5. Pays farmhand(s), if any, a living wage (to emphasize). 6. Loves nature. That is, makes contact with the soil, animal, etc. 7. Quality of farm produce/product will be A-grade; good. 8. Selling price will be relatively cheap or affordable. 9. Farm is self-sustaining; not funded with earnings from the/those other income source(s). 10. Fulfils all legal or corporate obligations required. 11. Farming (hobby?) means used will be eco-friendly techniques. 12. Achieves objective(s) of being sort of absentee part-time farmer.
