| GENERATION GAP (1) Definition: (usually - the generation gap) The difference in attitude or behaviour between young and older people that causes a lack of understanding. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Differences are specific and identifiable. 2. No confusion in the positions taken by both sides. 3. Possibility of a convergence of interest(s) or a compromise of their goal(s) is remote. 4. There is an appreciation of the uniqueness of their respective circumstances (connect to #3 & #5). 5. Lack of understanding does not lead to a disagreement of a physical nature. And does not result in an unplanned loss to either or both age groups. 6.
