| GENERAL STAFF Definitions: i. (often - the general staff) Officers who advise a military leader and help to plan a military operation. ii. A number of Officers who assists the commander in administrative and executive duties at army or divisional Headquarters. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity (see definition). 2. Appropriately trained and/or qualified by rank(s), etc. 3. Number will be complete, i.e. each cell will be manned. 4. Performs duties loyally, to the best of their abilities. 5. Won't be temporarily deployed, assigned to other roles. 6. Suitability will be judged by their pedigree/antecedent. 7.
