| GATECRASHER Definition: A person who goes to a party or social event without being invited. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Person has some purpose(s), whatever this/these is/are. 2. Considers it a necessity to attempt to be in place as a 'persona non grata'. (See perfect FUN (2).) ______________ PASSER-BY ... 3. Sought for or expected an invite which did not come or which did not arrive early. 4. Person gained entrance without much difficulty - no fisticuffs or shouting and shoving at the entrance. (See perfect GATE (1).) _____________ NEIGHBOUR ... 5. Arrival at the venue was at the right time, before the most important or main event or activity takes place. 6. 'Crasher' participates fully in activities. And/or is properly entertained, etc. (to emphasize). (See perfect PARTY (2).) __________ 'FUNDER' ... 7. Departs satisfied, at the end of the programme, but not after everyone has left venue of do. That is, achieves objective(s). 8. Will take away what is received as 'souvenir', 'takeaway', etc., which the invited people similarly got. (See perfect GIFT (1).) ___________________________ ...or maybe 'THE TAXMAN!'. | |
