| GANG (1) Definition: An organized group of criminals. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to form themselves into a group. 2. Each member has a criminal record - even if it is a caution, or served time or a suspended sentence! Not an intending criminal. 3. Has rules and regulations and has sanctions for flouting these. 4. Has an efficient operational structure - which may be unknown to the law-abiding. 5. Has an effective head, nay, ringleader. With or without a deputy! 6. Always tries to be at least one step ahead of the law. Or often looking to have an advantage over its major rival(s). 7. Will never be completely or easily exterminated, or disbanded, even when decimated or defeated in a turf war or by the fraud squad or the regular police! That is, group will be united and strong, with members watching out for each other. 8.
