| FUMIGATION Definition: An act of using special chemicals, smoke or gas to destroy the harmful insects or bacteria in a place. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to fumigate place. 2. Place is prepared for act. That is, clearance, evacuation, covering, etc., as applicable or necessary, of the persons or things in place, is done before the application of substances commences. 3. Process is effectively done without an unplanned loss or damage being suffered by people, animals, objects, etc. 4. (Reserved.) (Place is made airtight such that chemicals, smoke or gas is not inhaled by persons and animals around.) 5. Process is completed timely so that relocation to or normal activities can resume in place after a reasonable period of time. 6. Serves purpose(s).
