| FREELOADER Definition: (informal, disapproving) A person who is always accepting free food and accommodating from other people without giving them anything in exchange. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Never asks for food or accommodation (and never tempts giver to make an offer). 2. Never refuses an 'offering' (and does not complain - aloud or openly - about quality or standard of what is offered/received). 3. Does not waste or throw away food, or misuse or destroy room, flat, etc. (usually, 'silently' grateful). 4. Never makes an attempt to give something in exchange (though always or often capable of sparing something, in exchange, or doing something in appreciation). 5. Will not invite his or her ilk and brings no 'hangers-on' to the free 'bread and breakfast' (this 'fool' is not completely annoying or unreasonable). 6. Gets in no trouble as a direct result of habit. That is, will not overfeed or get into a dangerous situation where accommodated (wise in his or her own selfish ways ...). 7. Will not recognize previous benefactor(s). That is, if necessary, will visit the same person(s) again and again (... yet, suffers from selective amnesia). 8. Offers profuse thanks afterwards - genuine or not - for the food and roof provided and enjoyed free (looking ahead ...). _______________________ SO, WHO'S THAT ?! See perfect MYSELF. | |
