| FREAK (1) Definition: (informal) A person with a very strong interest in a particular subject. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers interest a necessity. 2. Devotes full undiluted attention whenever engaged in interest. 3. Constantly learning about or researching on subject and acquiring adequate understanding and appreciation in the process. 4. Breaks no law and flouts no rule or regulation in the process of devoting time, resources, etc. to subject matter. 5. Will not suffer an unplanned loss - financial, emotional, career, physical, etc. - during the course of involvement in activity. 6. Benefits adequately or will hope to gain bountifully from interest. 7. Will not disturb or be an inconvenience to others who do not have the same interest or who have only a little or average interest in particular subject. 8. Strong interest lasts, continues, or is sustained or sustainable for duration desired. 9.
