Definition: A person who pretends to have qualities, abilities, etc., that they do not really have in order to cheat other people.

1. Person has a purpose and considers it necessary to trick and deceive others (connect to #6).

2. No genuine evidence can be provided to support (false) claims.

3. Never takes up a challenge to prove position/status assumed. (Or will not see through a challenge that may be taken up.)

4. Protects himself or herself. That is, fraudster will not take unnecessary risks. In other words, person knows his/her limitations; not involved in self-deception.

5. Believed or will be believed. That is, person will succeed with the gullible or dunce, the greedy or selfish, etc. In other words, fraudulent activity will achieve objective(s).

6. (Reserved.) (Fraudster will be apprehended and made to make/pay refunds, restitution, etc. if reported. Or 'thief' will escape with stolen benefits, if left unreported by the dupe(s)!)
