| FRATERNITY (1) Definition: A group of people sharing the same profession, interests or beliefs. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the members of the group to share. 2. Members are qualified (full) and active (involved), whatever stratification exists amongst them. 3. Meets regularly and conducts its affairs fairly, even if secretively, and in an atmosphere of togetherness. 4. Outsiders (= non-members) are banned completely from group's activities, unless with the express and unanimous approval of, or permission by, all members. 5. No member in the group is thinking of making a foray into another profession or area of interest or experimenting with another belief. 6. Genuine friendship and cooperation exists between members, at all times and in all circumstances. 7. The group as a collective, breaks no law that may lead to losses for its members or its corporate self. 8.
