| ACCESSORY (3) Definitions: i. [ ~ (to something) ] (law) A person who helps somebody to commit a crime or who knows about it and protects the person from the police. ii. (legal) If someone is guilty of being an accessory to a crime, they helped the person who committed it, or knew it was being committed but did not tell the police. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1.
