| FOUL (1) Definition: (in sport) An action that is against the rules of the game. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Specific and identifiable, and clearly listed (to emphasize), even if deemed 'tactical'. CYNICAL. 2. Brazenly or knowingly committed with the intention of profiting or benefiting therefrom. DELIBERATE. 3. Infraction does not result in a serious injury, damage, death, etc. especially to the opponent(s) of the person who does the disallowed action. PATCHY. 4. Has specific punishment stated for its being committed, whenever rules are broken during playing time. HARSH. 5. Can be penalized within the rules, especially during, or if fair, even after, play ! That is, 'crime' is not got away with. INSANE. 6. A good one (if there is any such thing), which penalty results in a minor loss for who committed the infraction.
