| FOREWARNING Definition: The act of warning somebody about something bad or unpleasant before it happens. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful for the person issuing warning. 2. Considered a necessity to perform act (connect to #3). 3. No law or rule is broken or disobeyed by the act, whether a serious loss will be suffered or not, by the end result of imminent event or activity. 4. Warning is clear, specific and detailed. That is, the nature of impending danger is made known; unmistakable. ___________________________________ HEEDED (RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO) ... 5. Given timely, before the obvious imminence of bad or unpleasant event. That is, the process of thing to happen has not started when the 'warning shot' is given. In other words, there is adequate time to react, where desired, to warning. 6. Person or authority giving warning is certain of the badness or unpleasantness happening. That is, negative expectation (occurrence) is inevitable. 7.
