FOREGOING

Definition: (usually - the foregoing) What has just being mentioned.

1. Clearly and audibly stated or uttered or written.

2. (Reserved.) (The intended listener(s)/hearer(s)/reader(s) was/were fully attentive.) (Connect to #4.)

3. Not a word has been said after the particular thing or things.

4. Need not be repeated. That is, speaker or writer will not mention same word(s) a second time, except for a justifiable and/or understandable reason.

5. The words or phrase - 'the foregoing' - will be said, immediately after the specific word(s)/phrase(s) earlier mentioned, to confirm that what is/are being referred to is/are not the penultimate, but the very last or most recent word(s)/phrase(s).

6. No penalty will be paid and no unplanned loss will be suffered for stress, restatement or clarification. And time spent will not be considerable to negatively affect or disrupt a plan. (To emphasize.)
