| FOOTWORK (1) Definition: The way in which a person moves their feet when playing a sport or dancing. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Specific and identifiable, and different from the person's normal or routine steps. 3. 'Calculated'. That is, moves - fast, average or slow - do not result in an unplanned loss for person. 4. Familiar, rehearsed or practiced. That is, movements are not improvisations or confused, desperate steps. 5. Silky, dexterous - that is, no mistake, injury, etc. occurs to the feet during movements. 6. Not tiring. That is, style can be sustained for period of time required to help achieve goal(s). 7.
