| FOOTHOLD (2) Definition: A strong position in a business, profession, etc. from which somebody can make progress and achieve success. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Position is secured and safe (connect to #2). 2. 'Protection' or 'cover' is guaranteed to remain in place. That is, not possible to be dethroned or displaced from place occupied, especially using the instruments of the law (connect to #3). 3.
