| ARCHAELOGY (2) Definition: (British English) The body of knowledge obtained from the study of the prehistoric and of ancient periods of history, based on the examination of their physical remains. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have the special, particular materials collected and kept together. 2. State or condition of subjects will be 'as is'. That is, the items will not be modernized or refined. 3. Distinctiveness and belongingness of the objects to the ancient or to old or former ages or period can be proved. 4. Adequate and appropriate protection will be given to the collected and preserved items, wherever located, in whatever form. 5. Body of knowledge will be accessible or available for use, at all times, be this for research, or learning, or teaching, or display. 6.
