Definition: (informal, especially North American English) Entertainment that is not serious and is not considered to have great value.

1. Purposeful - to make record, movie, etc. in the particularly unserious way (to emphasize).

2. Considered necessary to have a less-than-impressive thing.

3. Acting , performance, etc. is actually good. And play, song, etc. is not boring or distasteful (connect to #1).

4. Audience/attendees/listeners/viewers' focus, attention or concentration is not fully directed on event, situation or occasion that is entertaining.

5. Entertainment is viewed, involved or participated 'fully' in, to the final stage or end (connect to #4).

6. Entertainment provides nothing of a real gain or offers no great positives to benefit from (see definition).

7. Entertainment is advertised as is. That is, cinema-goer, etc. knows that he or she is going for a fluffy show.
