| FLATNESS (9) Definition: A situation in which a discussion or argument is not allowed; the state of being definite. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for party bringing about situation. 2. Matter or issue is not really over or concluded. That is, there are outstanding things concerning the matter, even if this is from the point of view of only one of the parties. 3. No law, rule or regulation can compel the continuation of discussion, arrangement, debate, etc. 4. Some benefit or gain would be derived if talk has a (the) go-ahead. 5. Loss or losses will occur in the situation, even if only to the disadvantaged party. 6. Party that brings about termination or stoppage will not have regret(s) for action taken. 7.
